What FUN my son had, he is (10) & just loved pressing a few of his toys into the Magic Stamp, creating some wonderful moulds & images. A great activity for the school holidays & it has been pouring with rain here, kept him busy inside all day.

The Magic Stamp comes in a pack of eight for $15.95. You could try molding surface patterns from crumpled up paper, rice grains, bark, shells, wood, jewellery, buttons, fabric – even an old pair of denim jeans.

Check out the (2H) Workshop link to the right of screen. Workshop 2H091 Magic Stamp Jeans 12 x 12 Layout, created by Sonya Edwards, uses the Magic Stamp molded by a pair of denim jeans.

magic-stamp-card-3

Today my 10 year old son (Tyler) become involved with the Magic Stamp. It’s a great product for children to use, he just loved it. He helped me create a couple more kids birthday cards I will post tomorrow.

Tyler coiled a piece of craft wire (Non – Kaszazz) & molded it onto the Magic Stamp. We used this to create the base colour on the right hand side of the card, we used the Peach Pastel Fluid Chalk ink pad. I used the Long Stem Daisies with the Magic Stamp, stamped it, cut out & mounted onto a piece of Pinecone SB Bazzill over Black, Orange Stitch & White Dots ribbon. I stamped the Long Stem Daisies with the Magic Stamp & across the top of the card with Blush Rose Fluid Chalk. Finished by adding a little Ice Stickles to the daisies & stamped the words in Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk.

Today I have used both of the Brushed Roses from the Kaszazz 2-Step Stamp  Range, with the Magic Stamp. I inked up the Magic Stamp with Faded Jeans Distress Ink pad, then stamped over the front of a white card. I stamped (4 ) 2-Step Roses across another piece of white card, using Iced Blue Fluid Chalk & Faded Jeans Distress ink. Trimmed to size & adhered to a piece of Glitz Bazzill Bling & then adhered to front of the card. Finished with “Get Well Soon” from the Mini Messages Stamp Set (9), a piece of White Swirl ribbon & the heart charm from the Girl Things Charms. The charms are a great new product, which can be found on the back page of the March 09 new product flier.

‘Blog War’ Day 1 – Magic Stamp

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

The product of the week for the Blog War is the “Magic Stamp”. With this mouldable foam stamp you can mould & re-mould an endless variety of textures & objects onto your craft projects. Mould a variety of designs in 4 easy steps.

Step 1 – Heat Magic Stamp with an Embossing Heat Tool for about 30 seconds.

Step 2 – Press heated Magic Stamp against any cool, textured or dimensional surface. Hold down for 15 – 20 seconds.

Step 3 – Ink with any water based ink pad or paint.

Step 4 – Moulded image is very durable, but will ‘melt away’ when reheated – ready for your next surface design!

You can find more information about the ColorBox Magic Stamp, ColorBox Mouldable Stylus Tips & ColorBox Stylus Moulding Mats between page 83 – 85 of the Kaszazz Catalogue & Project Book.

Today I used the Large Frangapani Outline Stamp with the Magic Stamp. I inked it up with Maroon Fluid Chalk. Stamped, re-inking after each stamp down the centre of a piece of Madero Beach cardstock, from the Neutrals Card Pack. Other products I used include, polka-dot brad, small retro flower punch, pink pastel fluid chalk, greeting set stamps (4), SB Bazzill Juneberry. I finished by distressing the edges with the Maroon Fluid Chalk. I have also used a STAMP IT Stamp in black. Sorry this stamp is no longer available through Kaszazz, but I love it!! Couldn’t resist.

I AM GLUE of course a Kaszazz Glue, either a Glue Stick or Glossy Accents. Scary… I am definately a giver not a taker!!

You are GLUE!
You are the adhesive that keeps things together. You go through life helping others. You stick to people and try to keep people together. You like it best when you are surrounded by people and able to help them. But Glue Beware – in your efforts to keep everyone together and with you, you sometimes overlook yourself and find it hard to keep yourself together. Don’t neglect personal time in your overwhelming need to socialize and help others.

What Kaszazz item are you?
